INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Ready-to-eat meatloaf meal kits sold this month at Costco warehouses in Indiana are included in a new recall. Costco announced a recall for item #30783, Meatloaf with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Glaze, after one of its suppliers raised concerns. “An ingredient suppl ier, Griffith Foods Inc., has announced the recall of an ingredient used in the Meatloaf because the ingredient has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella,” Costco said in a letter sent to members who purchase the meatloaf meal kits. The recall notice did not specify which ingredient was linked to possible contamination. The Meatloaf with Mashed Yukon Potatoes and Glaze products were sold at Costco warehouses between March 2 and March 13, 2026, and have sell-by dates between March 5 and March 16, 2026. Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly, or those with weakened immune systems. So far, no illnesses have been reported. Costco members can return the item to their local warehouse for a full refund. Costco recall_FINAL_Meatloaf_Member_Letter_31426Download ...read more read less
