Check Nebraska 511 for the latest on road closures and travel conditions. pic.twitter.com/txYOBJ3CGG — Nebraska DOT (@NebraskaDOT) March 15, 2026 An emergency vehicle was struck while responding to a crash on I-80 near Greenwood.  A social media post from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a portion of road between Greenwood and the Mahoney State Park has closed a portion of Interstate 80 due to a multi-vehicle crash.  Some reports indicate there were at least 20 vehicles involved.  Bryan Health treated a total of four patients from a multi-vehicle crash on I-80 near mile marker 435 and the Greenwood exit.   Two patients have been admitted to Bryan West Campus. Both are in fair condition.   Two patients were treated and released. A winter storm with snow and winds gusting as high as 65 mph have caused white-out conditions over much of eastern Nebraska Sunday afternoon.
