High wind warning for North Country until Monday evening — gusts to hit 60 mph

At 2:28 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service released a high wind warning valid from 11 p.m. until Monday 8 p.m. for Franklin, Clinton and Essex counties.“South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected,” explains the weather service. “The strongest wind gusts are expected be tween 2 a.m. Monday and noon Monday, and along the Route 11 corridor.” ...read more read less
