Officials are looking for the suspects caught on camera breaking into a store, stealing cash and taking electronic devices last month, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The burglary happened in the early morning hours of Feb. 23, 2026, at Mi Tienda Hispana located on the 7000 bloc
k of Elmwood Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, police explained.
In the surveillance video shared by the police department, two men can be seen trying to break in around 3 a.m. with what appears to be a crow bar-type tool.
Then, around 6 a.m., surveillance captures one of the men return with a different person and they approach the store’s back door with what looks like the same tool.
This is when one of the suspects can be seen getting into the store before walking over to the cash register area and rummaging through the shelves.
It’s moments later that the cameras capture the person escaping out the back door and through a broken fence.
The suspect got away with a laptop, cell phone and several thousand dollars in cash, officials said.
