Winter weather advisory affecting Western NY, Finger Lakes until Saturday morning — gusts may reach 60 mph

At 1:27 a.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory valid from 5 p.m. until Saturday 8 a.m. for Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Erie counties.The weather service states to anticipate, “Total snow accumulations 4 to 7 inches across the higher terrain. 1 to 2
inches expected for the lower elevations. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow, mainly overnight when temperatures fall into the 20s.” ...read more read less
