COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A new report from AAA reveals a frightening statistic. 15% of all reported vehicle crashes in 2023 involved a driver who fled the scene. That’s a record high, and the number is even higher when a pedestrian or cyclist is killed. In those cases, one in four drivers left without reporting the crash.
