CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed the case against a Charlotte man brought on by the U.S. Border Patrol back in November. 24-year-old Miguel Martinez was arrested by federal agents during Operation Charlotte’s Web. Martinez is a U.S. citizen. At the time, DHS accused Mart inez of trying to use his car to “assault, resist or impede” federal officers. Martinez has said he was trying to record ICE officers during their immigration enforcement operations, before they went after him.
