Burtons Grill Bar will open its first Baltimore-area restaurant in Bel Air in mid-April, bringing its first venture to the Harford County community. The restaurant will be at Tollgate Marketplace at 609 Belair Road. There are Burtons locations in nine states along the East Coast, including Maryland, but this will be the first near Baltimore. Burtons Grill Bar serves American fare prepared from scratch, with an all-day menu offering burgers, salads, premium steaks, and fresh seafood. The restaurant customizes any dish to accommodate food allergies or dietary preferences and has an extensive gluten-free menu. The new restaurant will be over 7,000 square feet in size, with a modern design. The Audubon-inspired murals and abundant greenery aims to evoke a warm, inviting atmosphere. The dining room and bar will seat up to 218 guests. There will also be 1,194-square-foot of covered outdoor patio space with lighting and ceiling fans, able to seat 58 guests. Burtons will have a private dining room for up to 38 guests that has audiovisual capabilities for special events, business meetings, and family celebrations. “We couldn’t be more excited to open in Bel Air this spring,” said John Haggai, CEO and president of Burtons Grill Bar, in a statement. “Having previously lived in the area, I am very familiar with the greater Baltimore market and thrilled to be joining it again.” Burtons Grill Bar will be open seven days a week.
