The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 1:28 p.m. on Tuesday valid for Wednesday between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. for Jefferson County.The weather service describes, “Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch.”
