LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A free tutoring event aimed at helping local students succeed was recently held in Lexington. One Lexington hosted an “It Takes a Village” free tutoring day at the Charles Young Community Center to provide academic support and resources for students in the community. Organizers expressed gratitude to program coordinator Tania Walker and Club Z! In-Home Tutoring of Lexington for their contributions to the event. A special thank you was also given to Tiffany Gray for sponsoring breakfast for participants. Officials say the tutoring program is part of an ongoing effort to support youth and strengthen the Lexington community through education. The free tutoring sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of each month at the Charles Young Community Center.
