INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Colts are trading linebacker Zaire Franklin to the Packers in exchange for defensive tackle Colby Wooden, per a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Franklin had played all eight seasons of his career in Indianapolis. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Franklin has led the Colts in tackles for four straight seasons. He led the NFL in tackles in 2024. Franklin also made the Pro Bowl in 2024. Across his eight years with the Colts, Franklin had 738 tackles, 34 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. Franklin was a captain for his final six seasons with the Colts. Wooden is entering his fourth year in the NFL. He had played his three previous seasons with the Packers.
