INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin has been with the organization since they picked him in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. That may be changing though according to a report that came out on Thursday night. ESPN’s Senior NFL Insider Adam Scheft er posted on X Thursday that the Colts are “speaking with teams about a trade” involving Franklin “as they look to get under the salary cap by next week.” Franklin has played for the Colts for eight seasons. Last year, he led the team with 125 tackles. He also finished with 2 sacks. Franklin led the NFL in tackles in 2024, finishing with 173 tackles that season. He was named to the 2024 Pro Bowl.
