At 5:24 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in effect until Friday at 5 a.m. for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Erie, Genesee and Wyoming counties.The weather service says to prepare for, “Light freezing rain.
