Kutztown family show
The KU Presents! Family Series brings The PAZA Experience theatre piece “The White Buffalo” to Kutztown University’s Schaeffer Auditorium on Sunday at 2 p.m. The show introduces people of all ages to the Lakota Sioux culture, combining storytelling, dance and music. Philadelphia Orchestra
The Philadelphia Orchestra celebrates the music of George Gershwin Thursday at 7 in Marian Anderson Hall at the Kimmel Center. The program includes “Rhapsody in Blue,” “An American in Paris,” Catfish Row: Suite from “Porgy and Bess” and “Lullaby,” for strings. Naomi Woo conducts, and Hayato Sumino is the piano soloist.
Music Director Yannick Nezet-Seguin conducts the orchestra in Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 Friday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Children sing Mozart
The Chester Children’s Chorus will perform Mozart’s “Requiem” at 4 p.m. Sunday at The Lang Music Building at Swarthmore College in Delaware County. The choir will be joined by 30 community singers, professional soloists and an orchestra. The concert is free. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
