Dallas Police are investigating a man who walked into the hotel hosting Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Election Night party Tuesday afternoon wearing camouflage and “acting strange.”
According to a witness who spoke with NBC 5, police arrived and were seen speaking with the man before
he was taken outside and his car was searched.
The witness said the man’s car didn’t have any license plates and he recorded video of Dallas police officers pulling what appeared to be several boxes of ammunition from the vehicle. The man also shared a photo of what appeared to be a tactical box in his trunk.
The man, who has not been identified, was seen on video and photographs wearing a black turtleneck shirt, dark sweatpants, sunglasses, headphones, camouflage gloves, a hat, and a gaiter-style face covering. He was also seen carrying a green-colored shoulder bag.
Dallas Police confirmed the man was arrested for a traffic violation and that ammunition was found. The man was then taken to Dallas Police Headquarters for “further investigation.”
