San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie will roll out a new campaign to prevent cuts to Muni. The mayor is expected to announce a new measure on the November ballot. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said service cuts are planned to take effect this June because of the city’s ongoin g budget crisis, and it warns more cuts could come. If approved, the measure would stop cuts to service, invest in safer, more affordable transit and reduce traffic congestion.
