All northbound lanes of I-75 from Fletcher Avenue to Morris Bridge Road were closed for nearly six hours after a man died in a fatal crash in Thonotosassa, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).FHP said around 6 a.m., a Dodge 1500 was headed northbound on I-75 in the outside lane, and a Chevy truck was driving a little further ahead.The Dodge overtook the Chevy and collided with the truck's rear. The Chevy came to a rest along the shoulder of the highway, but the Dodge overturned multiple times.FHP said the 25-year-old driver of the Dodge was ejected from the truck and thrown into the center lanes, where he was then struck by a tractor-trailer also headed north.Officials said the 25-year-old suffered fatal injuries at the scene.All lanes of I-75 were reopened at around 12 p.m. Tuesday.This is a developing story.
