Sean “Diddy” Combs’ prison release date has moved up

Sean “Diddy” Combs is scheduled to be released from prison earlier than previously believed.

usly expected to come home on June 4, 2028, according to People. Combs was sentenced to 50 months behind bars in October 2025 after being arrested in September 2024.
Prosecutors wanted Combs, 55, to receive an 11-year sentence. His defense team asked the court to limit the Harlem native’s incarceration to 14 months. They preferred that his time would be spent in Fort Dix, where their client would have access to a drug rehabilitation program.
The Bad Boy label founder was busted in connection with his infamous sex and drug-fueled “Freak-Off” events.
Combs talked about the wild parties he hosted in a 2002 interview with Conan O’Brien where he talked about the attractive women who’d attend.
“Gotta keep them there,” he playfully claimed. “Need locks on the doors.”
Several women, including Combs’s ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, accused the rapping businessman of sexual assault in civil cases. Combs settled the suit with Ventura a day after it was filed. She later testified to having been paid $20 million.
The most serious criminal charges brought against Combs, sex trafficking and racketeering, could have kept him in prison for life, but he was acquitted on those counts.
