The San Diego Police Department shared a post on their social media pages assuring the San Diego community that the police department is being extra mindful around religious institutions and cultural centers around the city following the news of conflict in the Middle East. Authorities said that so far, there are no known credible threats to San Diego following the U.S./Israeli attack on Iran Saturday. SDPD said that heightened alertness is “to deter anyone who may try to create fear or harm in our city.” And that the police ‘remain dedicated to protecting every community across our city.” They ask that the public remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police department by calling 9-1-1 or 619-531-2000.
