DENVER It'll be an unseasonably warm end to February in Denver. In fact, it'll go down as the third warmest February on record in the city. Tonight, look for mostly clear skies with lows dipping into the mid-30s around the Urba n Corridor overnight.Saturday brings another warm and dry day to the Denver metro area. Daytime highs will jump into the upper 60s to lower 70s Saturday, just shy of record highs. Meanwhile, a backdoor cold front sliding in from the northeast during the afternoon and evening will trim temperatures slightly, especially near the Nebraska and Wyoming borders.Winds are expected to be lighter in the Denver area but a Red Flag Warning will go back into effect from 10am to 6pm Saturday for Larimer and Weld counties up into Wyoming. Look for gusts up to 45 mph with humidity values as low as 9-percent.By Sunday, cooler air settles in behind a cold front, with highs returning to the lower 60s across northeast Colorado. We'll see more cloud cover across the state, with higher humidities. The best chance for precipitation will be across the northern mountains, where light snow is possible. At this time, look for just a few inches of new snow as impacts should be limited. There will be a chance of spotty showers across the plains late Sunday night into Monday.Looking ahead to next week, a broader pattern change appears increasingly likely. Temperatures will dip into the 50s on Monday and Tuesday, with the chance for a few rain showers. Look for a bit more seasonal weather for the first few days of the new month.
