(KRON) -- A Panda Express in Burlingame was the site of a potential measles exposure. According to the San Mateo County Health Department, a person infected with measles visited the location at 1453 Burlingame Avenue on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24. The individual was an adult Santa Clara County resident wh o had recently returned from international travel. The person was vaccinated and is currently isolating at home, according to officials. Block stock surges post layoffs, raising AI alarm bells Anyone who was at the restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on either of the dates the person visited may be at risk of developing measles, especially if they are unvaccinated, pregnant or immunocompromised. Health officials advise anyone who was at the location during these times who develops symptoms to stay home and contact your health provider immediately. Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, and a rash that spreads over the body. Anyone who has been symptom-free for more than 21 days after potentially being exposed would no longer be considered at risk for developing measles. Health officials say that although the risk of contracting measles is low for anyone who is fully vaccinated, people should be aware of the situation and watch for symptoms.
