LongHorn Steakhouse announces its opening date in Citrus Plaza
Feb 27, 2026
LongHorn Steakhouse is growing its presence in the Inland Empire.
The Atlanta-based chain will open a new location in Citrus Plaza on March 16, according to the chain’s website and a big sign at the restaurant’s entrance at 27490 W. Lugonia Ave.
The space used to be Romano’s Macaroni Grill, wh
ich closed about a year and a half ago. For several months, workers have been making the exterior of the building look less Italian and more western.
There are really large cattle horns over the doors.
LongHorn Steakhouse is a well-known chain on the East Coast with about 600 locations in 43 states. It made its California debut in Rancho Cucamonga in March, 2020, a few days before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down restaurants statewide.
Redlands will be its sixth location in Southern California. Others are in Temecula, La Quinta, Northridge and Bakersfield.
A liquor license is pending for another location at 12545 Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road in Eastvale. It’s in the Station at Eastvale, anchored by Costco. A growing Orange County taqueria chain called Tacos Los Cholos recently made its Inland debut there.
LongHorn Steakhouse is a casual dining chain with a cowboy theme and a lot of beef on the menu. Popular cuts include the Outlaw Ribeye, priced around $41, and Flo’s Filet, starting around $31.
The menu also includes burgers, chicken, seafood and salads. Sides include loaded baked potatoes and Steakhouse Mac Cheese.
LongHorn Steakhouse is part of the Darden Group, which owns several full service brands. Among them is Seasons 52, which opened last November in Victoria Gardens near LongHorn’s Rancho Cucamonga restaurant.
