SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol activated an Ebony Alert in Sacramento, San Francisco and Alameda counties on Thursday for a teenager who was last seen three weeks ago in Elk Grove. Samya Martin, 17, is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. She has green h air and brown eyes, CHP said in the alert. It is unknown what clothing Martin was wearing when she went missing. "Martin is originally from Oakland, and we have received information that she may be back in that area, possibly near 10th Street and Wood Street," the Elk Grove Police Department wrote on social media.
