On Jan. 4, a woman was driving across the ice on Oneida Lake when her ATV lurched to an abrupt stop. The vehicle’s front wheels broke through a thin patch of ice, throwing her off. She wasn’t hurt, but the ATV was stuck half in, half out of the water.
