The Walnut Creek Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting involving at least one of its officers Thursday morning. The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday in the area of Alvarado Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue, police said. The officer who was involved in the shooting w as not injured, police confirmed to NBC Bay Area. A coroner will be arriving at the scene, another law enforcement official confirmed to NBC Bay Area.
