A Minnesota-based promotional company has issued a voluntary recall of more than 6,000 cases of repackaged MMs distributed across 20 states, including New York, because of missing allergen labels. Peanuts, soy and milk were found in some of the products, the FDA said. These aren’t MMs you ca n buy at the store, but they are the kind you pick up at a promotional event. And a lot of companies, including Subaru, Morgan Stanley, and Adobe, used them. See the FDA-provided list here. Beacon Promotions initiated the recall in late January after the repackaged MMs were found to have missing labels. The FDA categorizes the MM recall as Class II, which means the risk of serious adverse health effects to the general public is pretty low.
