Photos released of duo sought in SF Marina District assault

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department has released photos of two people of interest tied to an aggravated assault in the city's Marina District in early February that left the victims hospitalized with "extensive injuries."

SFPD said two victims walked into its Northern District police station on Feb. 8 to report a physical altercation that occurred in the early morning hours.
The victims told police that they were standing in front of a business on the 3100 block of Fillmore Street when they were confronted by a group of men.
"After a brief verbal altercation with the subjects, the victims walked away," said SFPD. "Soon after, the subjects approached the victims again on the 2000 block of Union Street and physically assaulted them."
This remains an active case.
"Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the people of interest in this case," said police.
