Crews knocked down a two-alarm apartment fire Wednesday morning in San Jose, according to the fire department.
Fire crews received a call about 9:29 a.m. reporting a fire at a two-story apartment building in the 3200 block of Loma Verde Drive in West San Jose.
The flames were contained to the
primary unit on the first floor and the second-floor unit directly above, fire officials said.
Five people were ultimately displaced by the fire and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire had not yet been determined.
