Pulaski County man charged after wife seriously injured in domestic violence incident

PULASKI COUNTY, KY. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of seriously injuring his wife during a domestic violence incident.
Officials say 36-year-old Timothy Lewis of Eubank is charged with first-degree assault involving domestic violence.
Investi
gators report the incident happened February 5 at the couple’s home. According to the sheriff’s office, an argument escalated when Lewis attempted to ignite a vape device with a lighter. During the altercation, his wife’s hair caught fire.
Authorities say the woman suffered burn injuries to her face, neck, and head and lost a significant amount of hair.
Lewis was arrested February 23 and later released the same day on a $25,000 bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
