This 85-year-old resident near Cleveland Ave. faced a major shoveling job after city trucks plowed walls of snow against his two cars. Several neighbors came to his rescue. Acts of kindness and community occurred throughout the city during the blizzard. A neighbor on Franklin St. had his son shovel my steps and sidewalk. A caretaker for one of the original residents here removed snow for that home and extended her work to clean sidewalks for others.
