The start of the NJSIAA basketball tournaments will wait a few more days after the governing body for high school athletics pushed the first round games for Groups I and III back to Friday. This comes one day after delaying Group II and IV action until Thursday. The changes were made after a Sunday- into-Monday blizzard dropped over two feet of snow on some areas of the state. Quarterfinal games will now be contested on Saturday for Groups II and IV and Monday for Groups I and III.
