Armed suspect shot, killed by officers in southwest Houston hotel room, HPD says

Officers were getting ready to go into the hotel when they said a man was seen coming out the door holding a rifle. The man, who officers describe as being in his 60s, was given commands to drop the rifle, but he did not follow them.
