BART service halted in Transbay Tube due to ‘loss of communications’

(KRON) -- BART has halted service in the Transbay Tube on Sunday afternoon due to "loss of communication," the agency posted on X at 4:19 p.m. Trains are turning back at the West Oakland and Embarcadero stations.
BART is working with local bus transit agencies for riders to safely reach their desti
nation, officials said.
AC Transit is providing a bus bridge, according to 511 SF Bay.
As of 4:30 p.m., there is no known cause of the incident.

BART first tweeted about the incident in an X post at 4:15 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
