Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is getting candid about her health with her followers. The “Jersey Shore” star shared that she was diagnosed with Stage 1 cervical cancer in a TikTok video posted Friday. Polizzi, 38, began the video taking followers along for a doctor’s appointment to discuss a recent cone biopsy — a treatment to test cervical cells for early stage cancer. She then sat down in her car to share with followers that her biopsy came back confirming she has Stage 1 cervical cancer. “Obviously not the news that I was hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early,” Polizzi said. Polizzi shared that she struggled with abnormal Pap smears for years leading up to the diagnosis. She said she’ll soon have a PET scan to detect if the cancer has spread to anywhere else in her body, will likely get a hysterectomy to remove her uterus and cervix. “Instead of just putting it off because I didn’t want to go and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it … cancer’s in there, and it’s only Stage 1 and it’s curable.” “2026 is not panning out how I wanted it to, but also, could be worse,” said Polizzi, who shares three children with Jionni LaValle.
