A San Antonio taquería praised for serving some of Texas’ best al pastor tacos is headed to the North Side. El Pastor es Mi Señor is opening a second location at 19211 Huebner Rd in Stone Oak, confirms co-owner Brenda Sarmiento.Brenda and sibling Alex Sarmiento got a rocky start to their busines s, opening just four days before the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns closed dining rooms throughout the city. Since then, they have built a cult following, especially from critics. In 2022, Texas Monthly Taco Editor José R. Ralat endorsed the restaurant, later including it on the publication’s list of the top 23 taquerias in Alamo City.
