Ski mountaineering saw its Olympic debut today with Switzerland taking gold in the women’s event and Spain in the men’s event. Speed skating gold-medal favorite Jordan Stolz won silver in men’s 1500m. Team USA advanced to the semifinals in women’s curling. The U.S. women’s hockey team won gold after a record-breaking 352-minute shutout streak at Milan Cortina.
