Two men were charged after breaking into a luxury clothing store in Suburban Square back in January and stealing over $10,000 in merchandise, according to the Lower Merion Township Police Department. The burglary happened around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6 when two masked men broke into the Lulule mon store at Suburban Square by using a sledgehammer to break the glass of the front door, police said. Officials said that the suspects went into and out of the store several times while grabbing coats and other items. When they left the store for the final time, the two suspects got into a U-Haul truck and drove away, police said. Detectives at the Lower Merion Township Police Department said that they were able to identify the suspects involved as 23-year-old Quran Harmon and 49-year-old James Jordan. Harmon and Jordan were also accused of being part of a burglary at a Famous Footwear store in Philadelphia on Jan. 5, police said. When officers from Lower Merion and Philadelphia served a search warrant at a home in Philadelphia, they said that they found items from both the Lululemon and Famous Footwear robberies. Harmon turned himself into police on Jan. 29 and Jordan was arrested on Feb. 6 during a separate incident, officials explained. Both men are being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility while they wait for their preliminary hearings. This was not the first time this store has been ransacked. It was also robbed in May of 2024. ...read more read less
