(KRON) -- A double homicide investigation is underway after two people were found dead inside a Pleasanton home on Wednesday morning after reports of gunshots, according to the Pleasanton Police Department. Photo: KRON4 News. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. They have since been confirmed as a 67-year-old woman and her 28-year-old son. The home is right across the street from Ken Mercer Sports Park. One neighbor who knows the victims told KRON4 that they are "devastated." "Based on a preliminary investigation, the shooting appears to be an isolated incident," said PPD in a news release.
