At least four people died in a Tuesday morning crash on Interstate 25 in southern Colorado involving roughly 30 vehicles, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to the multi-vehicle crash involving both commercial trucks and passenger cars at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the agency. At least 30 vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash, and four people were confirmed dead, state patrol officials said in the release. An unknown number of people were injured in the crash and taken to hospitals. The victims will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office at a later time. Drivers are asked to take alternate routes and avoid the area, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.
