2-16-26-Dailey Vincent INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Grand Ole Opry stars Dailey Vincent will perform at the Brown County Music Center on Friday, March 6, 2026. The duo, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent, are five-time Grammy Award winners individually and have collectively won 35 International Bluegr ass Music Association awards. The performance marks a return to the Nashville venue after nearly 20 years of performing at iconic locations such as Carnegie Hall and the Ryman Auditorium. Dailey Vincent recently released a new single, “Ruby,” available on all streaming platforms. The song pays tribute to the duo’s musical heroes, the Osborne Brothers, who were also Grand Ole Opry members. Dailey said the single originated during a special Opry night celebrating past legends. “The Opry had a night where they redid shows from the past and wanted different artists to sing songs the legends performed years ago,” he said. “We picked ‘Ruby,’ and now it’s a single. We’ll be performing it on stage everywhere we go.” The partnership began nearly 20 years ago at the International Bluegrass Music Awards in Louisville, Ky. At the time, Dailey performed with Doyle Lawson Quicksilver, and Vincent with Ricky Skaggs. After witnessing Dailey’s gospel performance, Vincent approached him backstage. “I was just smitten by him,” Vincent said. “I went backstage, put my hand out and said, ‘I’m Darrin Vincent. I’d like to be your friend.’” Their collaboration eventually led to a Christmas album and a two-decade-long career, including producing music festivals across the Southeast. The duo currently hosts “The Dailey Vincent Show”, now in its fifth season of national broadcast. Their performances adapt a variety of genres into an acoustic style, featuring multiple vocalists and instrumentalists. “We take all types of songs — rock, bluegrass, gospel, country, folk — and make them what we do as Dailey Vincent,” Vincent said. “A great song is a great song, no matter the style.” The Brown County concert will include gospel quartets, acapella numbers, trios, duets and instrumentals. The program also features original bluegrass and country tracks, including “I’ll Leave My Heart in Tennessee,” an official state song. “We often kid around and say, if we ain’t got it, you don’t need it,” Vincent said. Over their careers, Dailey Vincent have reached several milestones, including induction into the Grand Ole Opry and three headlining appearances at Carnegie Hall. Dailey reflected on their longevity and the significance of performing at the Ryman Auditorium. “Sometimes you get so busy in the middle of it, you forget all you’ve been a part of,” he said. “And then you sit down and think, ‘Oh wow, did we really do that?’” Their recorded work has also seen commercial success. Their live CD, “Dailey Vincent ALIVE”, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Bluegrass charts and held that spot for 15 weeks. Their holiday album, “Dailey Vincent: The Sounds of Christmas”, also reached No. 1 on the bluegrass chart and the Billboard Holiday Chart’s top 10. The Brown County Music Center opened in August 2019. The 2,000-seat venue is located less than a mile from Indiana’s largest state park, with the farthest seat just 106 feet from the stage. Since opening, it has hosted national acts including Vince Gill, The Beach Boys and Gladys Knight. Tickets for the March 6 show are available through Tickets are available at www.browncountymusiccenter.com, www.ticketmaster.com, and at the venue box office.  ...read more read less
