She made history in this event at the 2022 Games as the first Black woman to win an individual Winter Olympic gold.The figure skating competition continues with the pairs short program at 1:30 p.m. ET. The U.S. has never won gold in this event, with its last podium finish coming at the 1988 Games.The USA men’s hockey team looks to win its group as it takes on Leon Draisaitl-led Germany at 3:10 p.m. ET to close out the preliminary round. Group winners receive byes to the quarterfinals.
