RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Country singer Megan Moroney will make a stop at Richmond's The National as part of the fan-focused celebration of her latest album. On Friday, Feb. 13, Moroney's team announced “9 Cities. 9 Days." -- the fan-focused celebration of her latest album. The singer is set to make exclusive appearances in nine cities across the U.S. -- including in Richmond -- and perform songs at select stops. The celebration will kick off in New York City on Friday, Feb. 20 -- the album's release date -- and will conclude on Feb. 28 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her Richmond appearance will take place at Richmond's The National on Saturday, Feb. 21. “When I thought about the release of 'Cloud 9,' I knew I wanted to spend it with my fans,” Moroney said in a press release. “They’re the reason I get to do this, and I’m so excited to celebrate this album with them!” Live! She will travel by bus and join fans to celebrate the album's release, the release states. Tickets will cost $9 and will be available at the venue box office beginning at 9 a.m. on the morning of the event, with a limit of two tickets per person. Some ticket proceeds will go toward The Megan Moroney Foundation, a non-profit organization that addresses bullying and raises awareness for mental health, per a release.
