An investigation is underway after a massive fire left some damage at a factory in South Jersey on Thursday night, according to officials. Léelo en español aquí Firefighters were called to American Custom Drying on Elbow Lane in Burlington Township around 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12 for reports of a fire, Fire District Administrator Stephen Fazekas said. When crews got to the scene, they found a heavy fire burning on the second and third floors of the factory and all of the employees were able to escape, Fazekas explained. The fire was placed under control around 10:15 p.m. after being mostly attacked from the outside of the building, according to Fazekas. SkyForce10 was over the scene along Elbow Lane in Burlington Township around 10 a.m. on Feb. 12 where white smoke could be seen coming from the building as several fire trucks were parked outside. Burlington’s Hazmat team is on the scene but Fazekas said there is no concern to the surrounding community at this time. The fire is currently under investigation. This is a developing story.
