The Lakeland Village Community Center is back in business. After being closed for about a month, it has a new operator and classes — from ceramics to yoga — to serve residents near the city of Lake Elsinore. The association has 40 years of experience running centers and also oversees programs at community and senior centers in Calimesa, Highgrove and Cabazon. The association, which was chosen by Riverside County, said in a news release that the center is “dedicated to providing a welcoming space where residents can gather, participate in programming and access essential resources.” The center’s hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
