H.S. Girls Basketball Wrap: WWP South holds off Allentown in CVC Tournament

ALLENTOWN — The ninth-seeded West Windsor-Plainsboro High South varsity girls’ basketball team held off a strong, second-half charge from eighth-seeded Allentown to advance from the opening round of the Colonial Valley Conference Tournament Tuesday with a 50-42 win.
Sophia Latif Estafan topped a
ll scorers with 14 points, and Ava Barbrow hit four 3-point field goals to direct the Pirates’ offense.
Madison Sullivan’s 11 points paced the Redbirds.
