TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A man is dead following a Monday house fire in Taylorsville just off of U.S. 31 in Bartholomew County. At about 3:00 p.m. Monday, first responders arrived at a house fire in Taylorsville at the 1800 block of County Road West 650 North. Inside, they found 54- year-old Mark Streeval in the back bedroom of the house. There was heavy smoke inside the residence. Firefighters had to rescue Streeval through a window. Streeval was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital before being airlifted to Eskenazi Hospital. Streeval later died.
