A ride share driver and his passenger were sickened after coming in contact with a suspicious package while driving in Logan Square, prompting a hazardous materials incident Monday night. Officers responded to their 911 call around 9:55 p.m. in the 2200 block of North Monticello Avenue when the driv er and the passenger began feeling unwell after picking up a package in the 3600 block of West Palmer Street, Chicago police said. The fire department's hazmat team responded to the scene and the package — which was not described — was recovered from the vehicle, officials said.They were taken to Norwegian Hospital where they were in fair condition, police said.
