Here are the IE Varsity girls basketball rankings heading into the CIF Southern Section playoffs. Records are through Sunday, Feb, 8. IE VARSITY GIRLS BASKETBALL RANKINGS 1. Ontario Christian (27-1) The Knights look to claim a second straight Open Division section title. Previous ranking: 1 2. Etiwa nda (27-2) The Eagles beat Los Osos for program’s 26th straight Baseline crown. Previous ranking: 2 3. Centennial (18-3) The Huskies rolled past King to finish unbeaten in Big VIII League play. Previous ranking: 3 4. Rancho Christian (21-7) The Eagles were among the Inland teams chosen for the Open Division. Previous ranking: 4 5. Moreno Valley (16-11) The Vikings are the No. 3-seeded team in this year’s Division 1 bracket. Previous ranking: 5 6. Rialto (23-3) The Knights went unbeaten in league play for a fifth consecutive season. Previous ranking: 6 7. Los Osos (19-9) The Grizzlies were Baseline League runners-up for the fourth straight year. Previous ranking: 7 8. Rancho Cucamonga (17-11) The Cougars avenged loss to Chino Hills and finished third in the Baseline. Previous ranking: 8 9. Chino (20-5) The Cowboys extended their Mt. Baldy League winning streak to 54 games. Previous ranking: 10 10. Yucaipa (22-5) The T-Birds went unbeaten in Citrus Belt League for second straight season. Previous ranking: Bubble Teams on the bubble (in alphabetical order): Bonita (17-11), California School for the Deaf-Riverside (27-1), Chino Hills (16-10), Claremont (17-10), Heritage (17-11), King (22-8), Murrieta Mesa (19-8), Murrieta Valley (16-11), San Dimas  (20-6), Summit (19-6).
