Man hospitalized following shooting after Super Bowl at North Philly bar

A man was hospitalized early Monday after, officials said, he was injured in a shooting at a bar in North Philadelphia after the Super Bowl wrapped up earlier in the evening.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting at a bar along the 2500 block of North 2nd Street in Philadelphia be
fore 3 a.m. on Monday after a report of a shooting.
Here, officials said, they found a man — who police did not immediately provide further identifying information on — who had been shot.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but, police did not immediately detail the victim’s condition following this incident.
At the scene, early Monday, NBC10’s Lili Zheng found police tape wrapped around the bar, along with shattered glass littering the ground outside of a broken door.
Officials did not immediately detail a motive in this incident, nor did they announce any arrested in the shooting.
But, officials said, an investigation is underway.
