Luke Kornet made his return from injury, so the Spurs were at full strength. After leading 39-32 at the end of the first quarter, the Spurs kept the pace high and outscored the Mavs 42-35 in the second to lead 81-67 at halftime. The 81 points at halftime was the Spurs’ highest scoring half since March 2022. The lead just kept growing, with the Spurs taking a 23-point lead into the fourth quarter.
